As a Music Director, Pit Musician, Actor, and Editor local to Chicago, I understand how valuable it is to have professional photos in the age of social media. As a human person, I understand how taxing it can be to spend a month’s rent on these photos. This is where karasnaps comes in.

As a kid, I didn’t realize that not every grandpa brings a Nikon to every family gathering. Since starting my own photography journey in elementary school, thanks to him, I’ve realized that capturing the joy of others is what drives me. Artists work so incredibly hard, whether they’re applauded for it or not. Putting the artist in front of the camera is the act of capturing their joy— capturing where they feel most at home and celebrating all of the work they’ve put into their craft.
